Yasser Al Niady
Yasser Saeed Al Neyadi is a 16-year-old Emirati filmmaker. His hobbies include digital photography, scriptwriting, acting, and graphics designer. He won the prize for Best Emirati Short Documentary Film at the 2008 EFC.

Temporary Drought portrays a fictional actor trapped in the dilemma of acting in his real life. He wishes to become his character and practices by acting at all times. But no matter how hard he tries to live his fictitious role, the film's director gives him a hard time, and his family and friends become increasingly annoyed that he can't unplug his act.
